BME498 Biomedical Engineering Design

Course Objective:

This course aims at developing new approaches, which involve application of biomedical engineering principles and methods, to solve health problems in the relevant fields. Students will develop hands-on program that places them in a simulated incubator environment, with faculty guidance and professional mentorship.

Design projects proposed in this group aims at solving problems using tissue or regenerative engineering, an emerging therapeutic approach to treat degenerated or damaged tissues/organs, as one of the significant pillars of Biomedical Engineering.
